Contact me by phone
Call or text 07714 002110 to contact me directly. If I am up a ladder, speaking with a client or getting my overalls dirty in a dank cellar where there is no mobile signal, please leave me a brief message on my voicemail with your name and number and I will call you back at the earliest convenience. Alternatively my landline number is 01926 671186.
iPhone users, please ensure you're messaging me via SMS and not iMessage! I don't use an iPhone, but for some reason clients are recently reporting their iPhones are sending texts to my number as iMessages. I've told Apple to deregister my number, but the issue seems to be continuing.

To visit you within Warwickshire or Coventry in order to discuss a project or to provide a no-obligation quotation for a set piece of work you want completing then there is no charge.
Where pricing hasn't been quoted beforehand for a set piece of work or where faultfinding is required, the following hourly/part hourly call-out rates are likely to apply.
Scheduled work during weekday hours will be based on this rate for the first hour/part hour unless a fixed price has been quoted beforehand. Material costs are not included in this price.
After the first hour, the rate for subsequent hours/part hours drops for scheduled work unless a fixed price has been quoted beforehand. Material costs are not included in this price.
Where work is required for an evening, weekend or bank holiday, or where it has to be scheduled at short notice, i.e. to suddenly fit in with other trades or available access, or where it necessitates in a change of my planned schedule, then pricing will be based on this hourly rate. Material costs are not included in this price. This rate may also be charged per part hour for short or overrunning work.
The emergency hourly/part hourly charge will apply whenever a quick response is required regardless of the time of day or day of week. Material costs are not included in this price.
These prices are based on man-hours with myself and one or more specialists attending any given call-out and charging per person where all operatives are fully engaged in working towards a speedy outcome for any given installation, faultfinding or repair objective. A final invoice will break down the manpower into rates based on the above.
Partner firms who operate in office hours only ever pay the 'subsequent hours' rate regardless of their requirements.
Rates are subject to change without notice. Always check this page for the current rate when booking new work.

Why choose David Savery Electrical Services?
My competitive pricing covers the standard stuff any legitimate electrical tradesman would provide such as BS7671 and Part-P certification where applicable, public liability/professional indemnity insurance during works and Competent Person Scheme protection via NICEIC, however my pricing also includes all the following extras...
24 month guarantee on supplied parts and installation methods
A no-nonsense guarantee for two years on all non-consumable parts I supply and install. For further details, see here. Domestic work notifiable to Local Authority Building Control is additionally automatically covered by the NICEIC Platinum Promise for six years. All work is covered by an ECA warranty for six years. I am also approved as a Which? Trusted Trader and a member of TrustMark.
My attention to detail to ensure your specific requirements are met beats the ‘bang it on the wall quick and take the money’ mentality I often hear complaints about from clients who have used competing firms. As a one-man-band you'll be dealing with someone who will perform the planning, purchasing and installation work on your project so you can ensure you get the result you want without the cost of additional staffing overheads or the risk of communication breakdowns inherent with a larger firm.
My best practice promise
A guarantee of no unnecessary work and no jargon. Any concerns I discover on an existing installation outside of work I’ve been hired to perform will be put to you in writing clearly explaining the issue and why it should be resolved. If you’re unsure, you can contact NICEIC, the Competent Persons Scheme which oversees my work, and have them verify my findings.
Registered Competent Person
I am a member of the Registered Competent Person (Electrical) scheme (formally the ElectricSafe Register) via my status with NICEIC as an Approved Contractor. I am also a member of the Electrical Contractors Association.
I don't publish testimonials and I don't participate with those rated/trusted tradespeople web directories, but if you want to see examples of my previous work or to talk directly with previous clients then I'd be happy to put you in touch once I have obtained their permission to be contacted. I invite any customer, past or present, to leave an honest review on my Freeindex, Facebook, Yell, Kahuti, Google+ or TrustPilot pages.
I hold both professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
