iPhone users, please ensure you're messaging me via SMS and not iMessage! I don't use an iPhone, but for some reason clients are recently reporting their iPhones are sending texts to my number as iMessages. I've told Apple to deregister my number, but the issue seems to be continuing.

To visit you within Warwickshire or Coventry in order to discuss a project or to provide a no-obligation quotation for a set piece of work you want completing then there is no charge.
Where pricing hasn't been quoted beforehand for a set piece of work or where faultfinding is required, the following hourly/part hourly call-out rates are likely to apply.
|Scheduled work during weekday hours will be based on this rate for the first hour/part hour unless a fixed price has been quoted beforehand. Material costs are not included in this price.|
|After the first hour, the rate for subsequent hours/part hours drops for scheduled work unless a fixed price has been quoted beforehand. Material costs are not included in this price.|
|Where work is required for an evening, weekend or bank holiday, or where it has to be scheduled at short notice, i.e. to suddenly fit in with other trades or available access, or where it necessitates in a change of my planned schedule, then pricing will be based on this hourly rate. Material costs are not included in this price. This rate may also be charged per part hour for short or overrunning work.|
|The emergency hourly/part hourly charge will apply whenever a quick response is required regardless of the time of day or day of week. Material costs are not included in this price.|
These prices are based on man-hours with myself and one or more specialists attending any given call-out and charging per person where all operatives are fully engaged in working towards a speedy outcome for any given installation, faultfinding or repair objective. A final invoice will break down the manpower into rates based on the above.
Partner firms who operate in office hours only ever pay the 'subsequent hours' rate regardless of their requirements.

Accepted payment methods
Invoices are payable upon presentation with the preferred payment method being BACS. Alternative payment methods are cash, cheque or cedit/debit card which can be processed on site using a portable card terminal or through this website via WorldPay's secure checkout. Card payments can also be taken over the phone. There are no discounts for cash, and there are no surcharges for credit/debit card payments. More details can be found on my Q&A page.

I am a member of the Registered Competent Person (Electrical) scheme (formally the ElectricSafe Register) via my status with NICEIC as an Approved Contractor. I am also a member of the Electrical Contractors Association.
