At the end of 2013 I was working with Spartacus Landscaping and Gardening on a large outdoor job at a converted barn out in the sticks towards Shakespeare's end of the county. David Savery Electrical Services is one year old today! Yes, twelve whole months have elapsed since incorporation of the limited company and my taking on private work. I'm pleased to report that business is brisk and my reputation for no-nonsense honesty continues to build.

The only worry is how scary it is that time flies by so quickly - and how grey my hair is going as I rocket towards 40! 

Sometimes I come across bad work or poor documentation from the competition. This week, a homeowner presented me with an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) by a Kenilworth based firm that was both hopelessly incomplete and incorrect. I'm not going to name names, but as the homeowner kindly gave me a copy of the report that they had spent good money on obtaining, I thought I'd share it here.

A few weeks ago I decided to invest in a change of wheels and get something with a little more space that also fitted in better with my corporate colour scheme. I’m pleased to report that after signwriting and some light customisation, my tangerine dream is now a sight to behold on the roads around Warwickshire!
